PUBLIC COMMENT INFORMATION
To submit written public comment on an agenda item, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Submissions must be received by 12:00 pm the day before the Finance Committee meeting to guarantee their inclusion in the agenda packet. All submissions must include the commenter's name and legal address. To help ensure your comment is submitted for the correct item, please include the name of the agenda item (see below).

2. FY23 City Manager Recommended Budget (PUBLIC HEARING & VOTE)
The Committee will continue review of the FY23 City Manager Recommended Budget. At the current meeting the Finance Committee will receive answers to any remaining Council questions where responses have not yet been provided previously. The Committee will also hold a public hearing on the FY23 City Manager Recommended budget. The Committee is scheduled for a vote regarding recommendation of the FY23 City Manager’s Recommended budget to the full City Council for final approval at the June 6, 2022 meeting.

3. Portland Growing Child Care Grant Update
Staff will provide an update on the Portland Growing Child Care Grant program (https://www.portlandmaine.gov/2751/Portland-Growing-Child-Care-Grant), total number of grants approved to date and discuss potential expansion of the program to larger providers. This is a discussion item only, no action is scheduled to be taken.
